Spring Newsletter 2013

Message from Activities
Co-ordinator Ros
I am looking forward to this season’s sailing. We have lots of sailing dates organised and I am hoping that the weather will be kinder to us this year.
Despite the weather, last year was a good one for the PhabSail, as we recruited new volunteers, and saw more people come sailing with us.

Everyone seems to like the e-mails I send out before each session, giving you an idea of what will be happening on the day – so I will be carrying on sending them this year.
Last year we also had a number of distinguished visitors, including representatives from the local freemasons, the rotary club and the Mayor and Mayoress of Spelthorne. We were also visited by members of Unity 70 (a Phab club based in London). We hope to have more visitors come to join us for sailing this year as well

We ask our disabled sailors (or someone on their behalf) to get in touch with us before hand to let us know you are coming. Please do reply to the e-mail Ros sends out before each session.

Catamaran
Littleton PhabSail is run entirely by
volunteers – without your hard work
and commitment there would be no
club. So thank you everyone for
making 2012 such a successful
and fun filled year.
Many PhabSail volunteers, like
Club Chairman John Murray, and
Derek have supported PhabSail for
years. Others, like Andy Bennett,
Alicia, Roman and Andrea, have
joined more recently.
We always welcome new
volunteers who can help with our
regular sailing sessions, with boat
maintenance, publicity and making
delicious home-made cakes.
Regular volunteers Andy, Roman and
Alicia take a well earned break
New Website
We now have a fantastic new
